Abu Dhabi to host seminar on film making

Abu Dhabi, Oct 29 (IANS/WAM) Top industry executives and experts will discuss production resources, challenges and opportunities for UAE based film-makers during a seminar here Tuesday.

The event is being organised by Tamakkan, an organisation based in the UAE promoting entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation, in Abu Dhabi.

"We have succeeded in bringing together diverse resources into a single seminar aimed at supporting entrepreneurship in the film industry. The momentum has been built by the Abu Dhabi Film Festival and there is a huge appetite by filmmakers to get going on their projects," said Sana Bagersh, founder of Tamakkan.

Tamakkan's film "The Journey" won Black Pearl Special Jury award in the Emirates shorts category of the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.
