About Cassius Khan

Cassius Khan is truly one of the most unique artists in the world. He is the only known professional artist who sings complex Ghazal gayaki, and accompanies himself on the Tabla with complete mastery at the same time. Cassius has performed hundreds of solo performances across Canada and the US, and has accompanied artists such as Stu Goldberg, Ellen Mackewain, Dave Martone, Pt. VM Bhatt, and others. Cassius is simply hypnotic to watch.

Cassius has played across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Maritimes, in the US and in Europe, but never in Toronto. This is a one-night only event in Toronto, showcasing one of the truly great Ghazal artists in our country.

Cassius' website is http://cassiuskhan.impendo.com/ , and you can find audio/video clips of him there. There are also a few video clips of his concert with Stu Goldberg on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_DCM926QLo .
