Toronto: The BIG Mallu Party – a South Asian one night, live concert featuring South India's hottest singing sensations Vineeth Sreenivasan and Sayanora Philip will be held on Saturday, 7th March 2009 at 6pm. This South Asian live concert, Toronto's one of the largest South Indian party events, will take place at The Queen Elizabeth Theater (Exhibition Grounds, 190 Princes' Boulevard, Downtown Toronto, Ontario M6K 3C3 ) - one of the GTA's most technologically advanced, digitally surrounded Live auditoriums and only showcases world class events.

In it's epicenter this event brings together a fusion of cultures through a medium that shares no boundaries, music. South India's leading Malayalam playback singer Vineeth Sreenivasan, is also a favorite amongst the Tamil speaking audience. He has rendered his vocal talents to over 80 feature films and has featured in over 5 albums. Vineeth's vocals resonate with the generation that has taken over the audience seat. His songs are more R&B, rock & soul with an original Malayalee touch.

Sayanora is a favorite also amongst the Tamil and Hindi speaking audience. She rose to fame in these markets via the box office hit feature film Big B and the Tamil super hit Shivaji. Saya's greatest ability is to be able to sing World Music in as diverse languages as Spanish, Arabic, African, Telugu etc. Sayanora Philip is the beautiful voice behind Atharadee. Sayanora accompanied Sri. A. R. Rahman for his world tour and was with the maestro here in Toronto earlier this year.

The BIG mallu party also features cinematic style stage routines, Bollywood dances, mood fitting lazer displays, and an ambiance that befits a March Break mood. While Priya & Neil choreograph the dance segments, AGNI, Toronto's band of choice that has played for practically every celebrity event in North America, also will support Vineeth, Sayanora, Benzi & Queensy for their authentic South Asian music.

The event director, Benzi, however says that the highlight of the show is a music montage that speaks of the "Legend of Unniyarcha" the woman warrier who became the matriarch of the Malayalee society. Award winning traditional dance schools put together this dramatic dance piece showcasing a true life experience of a Kerala in the 16th century.
The entire program is organized by the Vision Tree Inc. and hosted by The Looz Mallooz –the carzy hip and fun loving Toronto grown talent group consists of unique personalities like Neil, Queency, Denny, Nahid, Dennis, and Benzi.
