SAP Business Object® Course Description
The SAP Business Objects intelligence platform breaks the barriers of traditional business intelligence to ensure that all of business users – enterprise-wide – have immediate access to reliable business information – so they can do their jobs efficiently and effectively.
This course is designed to give you the comprehensive skills and in-depth knowledge that cover specific Business Objects components and functionality, including SAP Business Objects Universe Design, SAP Business Objects InfoView and Web Intelligence Report Design, SAP Business Objects Data Integrator XI, and SAP Business Objects Xcelsius.
SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS UNIVERSE DESIGN
This session is designed to give you the comprehensive skills needed to design, build and maintain SAP Business Objects XI universes. This session provides an overview of the process for planning, designing and creating a universe and then walks you through the process of designing a universe that responds to identified requirements.
SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS INFOVIEW AND WEB INTELLIGENCE REPORT DESIGN
During this session, you’ll learn how to organize, manage and distribute documents using InfoView. You’ll also learn how to create Web Intelligence documents for your reporting needs, to retrieve data by building queries using SAP Business Objects universes and to use Web Intelligence to enhance documents for easier analysis.
SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS DATA INTEGRATOR XI
SAP Business Objects Data Integrator XI enables the implementation of ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) projects from disparate data sources to deliver more timely and accurate data that end users in an organization can trust. You will learn about batch data transformation jobs, techniques for capturing changes in data, handling errors, multi-user environment tasks, administering server and migration basics. The session also shows you how to use tools to audit, profile data, and manage metadata to assist in the implementation of an ETL project.
SAP BUSINESS OBJECTS XCELSIUS 2008
This session provides you an understanding of how to use SAP Business Objects Xcelsius to create interactive models of complex data that can be used for presentations and reports. By the end of the course, you will understand how to use the SAP Business Objects Xcelsius suite of tools, determine which components best represent different types of information, and set up the relationships between these components.
