Vancouver SaPaSa, a registered non-profit society dedicated to the promotion of South Indian classical music and dance in the Lower Mainland is presenting "Mangala Dhwani" (Auspicious Sonance) on Saturday, November 19 2005 starting at 5 pm until 8 PM. This event will be at Sri Ganesh Temple Society of BC, 7656 Main street, Vancouver, BC (61st and Main street). 604 327 2924. The event features Indian percussion illustrating the rich musical traditions of India. The event will contrast North and South Indian drumming featuring Mridangam, Tabla, Kanjira, Ghatam, Morsing and Tavil. Please email for more details or visit their web site.
