Passport marriage or marriage of convenience is becoming an epidemic crisis in our Canadian society. Anyone can become a victim. Most of the time, victims are embarrassed and disgraced, but are apprehensive about talking about this issue in public, and fear that if they take the issue to their elected representatives, they will only be disregarded and further marginalized. Sponsorship undertaking bonds sponsors whereas the sponsoree has no accountability or consequence for their action by using marriage to enter Canada. Spouses who made misrepresentation to come to Canada must be removed under the Division 2.4 BAD FAITH Regulation of the Immigration Act.

Sponsorship default recovery project -The Canadian government is aggressively taking action against the sponsors who are at default. The collections of the debt are causing the sponsors and their families’ great trauma and in some cases family are breaking down due to tremendous emotional and financial stress. We ask for fair and compassion handling of individual case under the sponsorship default recovery project.
