Biography: I am very interested in Ayn Rand's philosophy of objectivism and connecting with other like minded individuals in the Brampton/Mississauga area. Ayn Rand's philosophy is fundamentally an integrated view of man the hero. It is very fundamental:comprised of metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, politics and art. The integration itself is not random but logical in its structure, including morals. For example a quote would be, \"Reason is man's only means of knowledge.\" This position cannot include just epistemology, but metaphysics (existence) as well. Application must include morality. (is reasoning right or wrong?) Extension must include politics (rights) and art (representational art or splotches?). The \"big picture\" must have a foundation. Ayn Rand has made some very important and crucial discoveries in philosophy; ideas that are positively changing North America - and thus the world, including India. I'm looking for admirers of Ayn Rand here for discussion of, education of and promotion of her breath-taking ground work in philosophy. Do you find Ayn Rand's books and ideas appealing?
