I think to get this group going we need a guy and gal team to initiate things. I imagine from your avataar, you are a lady. I am a guy. I am most willing to start the ball rolling, the weekend foll the next as I will not be around the long weekend.

Where would you like to meet? At somebody's place or downtown, Miss, Browntown, Singhdom?

I am willing to host an initial small group at my home if need be.

If you folks want, we can arrange a pot-luck at my place or in Bambaiyya- "dish party".

Whaddya folks say? Even though I went to school in Pune and currently my home in India is in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, I was born in Mumbai and lived there for a few years near Oval Maidan (Colaba side- town side for the Bandra wallahs) just a few buildings away from Eros theatre.

Next weekend, I am busy on the 7th. But if you guys would like to meet on the 8th I am free. And yes we could start off with a small group of people who are really interested and then see from there. I live in Vaughan and a potluck sounds good. As for where, I don't mind it at my place or somewhere nearby. Brampton or downtown are alright too. However Mississuaga would be a bit far for me as I would be the one driving (my husband is out of town - and he is a pakka bombayite (its sad he'll miss our first meetup)) and I usually prefer not to drive on express ways.
