As you guys probably know the Hang Seng jumped 977 points yesterday and today another 146 points . Just 200 odd points away from 26000- a record high!

Yesterday world markets were up cept for TSX.

Today we have Europe down.Oil is hovering near $82 a barrel and still the price at pump is less than $1.

Our sweet CAND is up within spitting distance of parity, or using my fave line borrowed from the indomitable Stones " Just a kiss away..." which actually is a mundane expression which they used and immortalized.

Did anybody see Aerosmith 2 days ago and Rush yesterday?

Man like the Hang Seng Index is freaking out! All time high of 26551!

My broker friends on Dalal Street in mighty Mumbai had told me that BSE would hit 17000 by Diwali and we are a kiss away from it. One more triple digit increase tomorrow (hopefully) and we are home.

West Texas in $82-$83 range. Gold down slightly. CanD slipping agnst USD

Had you guys invested in RIM (well known company that is behind the 'crackberry') last year you would be up almost 3 times. And had you taken options....

Another lesser known company(for many) Potash also would have made you 3 times. There are many 'good 'companies(not penny stocks) where you would have doubled and tripled and even sextupled money.

And they say the Can stock market is only chugging along. Imagine tripling money in the powerhouse RIM in a simple buy(no options involved)!

As I finish this post BSE has stopped trading and is up 57 points to close at 16903.15. Bahut jald mein 17000 ko chumi dene wala hai! (Very soon it's gonna kiss 17000).

I don't know if I mentioned this before on a post but Excel Funds that won the the Lipper awards this year for its China fund and is the only company that offers an India-centric fund in Canada for public-at-large purchase- a company pioneered by Bhim Asdhir- is to open the TSX on Friday Sep 28th by ringing the bell, so for those who wish to, please tune in on BNN at 9.30am on Sep28. They say it's the first South Asian company spawned in Canada to do so.

Man, BSE breached 17000 in intra-day trading! And then has lost ground. Typical behaviour. Chance maroed by giving it a good French kiss and then retreated and now is recovering, casing the target for another go.

Actually in the tea break in the morning, it took a peck at 17000, saw that it liked it and after lunch went in for a long hard kiss!The has retreated.
