I just paid $1360 from Toronto to Mumbai but I used Al Italia. All the Jet Airways flights were booked for the days I wanted to go.

I still think you can get this same price right now off travelocity. I checked a few days ago.

What Visa is needed if Canadian PR has to transit through the US onwards to India and return w/o stop overs ?

Also if anyone is aware , how much does it cost .

I am getting a good deal via some American Airlines but I feel I qualify for a C1 Visa . Wondering about the availability also .

I have just arrived after a quick one week trip.
Jet is trying to copy Thai airways and quality of service is pretty good even by international standards. So is food, plane, seating, in-flight entertainment etc.
One big difference with Thai though...Thais provide service from their hearts, Jet staff on the other hand is trying to extend quality service artificially. You can easily notice the difference in some of their flight attendents scooped up from Thai.
The return flight was a DISASTER. Flight got cancelled at Delhi and all hell broke loose trying to find alternate flights. Landed 12 hours late after a gruesome 40 hour travel time. Ground staff in delhi was clueless, did offer tea and snacks but otherwise did not know how to handle the situation or to compensate the passengers.
On the whole, jet is a superior choice at the moment.

thanks for the feedback...even though there was a delay you still liked the flight. 40 hours is a long time...

I never knew that jet was flying to Delhi...also.

I travelled by Jet from Delhi to Toronto recently...
The serveice, food, etc, are excellent, by any standards....
The seating is more comfortable, and a lot more spacious...

No, you do not need a transit visa for Brussels.

Question to the recent flyers :
Is jet airways STRICT about the baggage limit i.e. 23 KG / suitcase or they dont bother if it is slightly over weight .. ( 1-2 KG )
