Hi TK,
i was wondering how could u fall for them, as u r the most respectable researchable person in my view:-)
Just kidding it happens.
Well here you go....just my 2 cents..
just call them and cancell all of them with no penality..if not try to call rogers and hookup so that they will take care of all of your headaches.
In the sense they will cancell and give u credit for your penality with bell (if any).
Ontop of it u might get 3 months internet and 6 moths Rogers home phone for free.

btw, with LNP(local no portability)concept, you can still have your old no undisturbed.

Then start researching again after you moved to rogers under promotional period and get the right one which suits u r needs

rgds

Staying on the topis i think Bell is the best ISP. i tried roger for few months but the connection gets very slow during peak hours. then i switched to bell n never looked back after that. fast and reliable service so far (touch wood). when we moved to new house i knew that phone service gonna be very costly so what i did is get dry loop connection from bell (ADSL)and get voip from primus. now i pay less then $70 for unlimited internet (5Mb line) and fully loaded phone line (all features) with free calling within N.America

Thanks Warriar and MK.
I called up Bell and asked the agent about this. He told me that it was a bug in their system which they will fix and told me that it would be reflected in the next bill.
Next I have to call their Tech. support and ask them as to why my wireless connection is this slow when I am paying $50 a month for it. B;cos it is office computer with VPN access, I wanted wireless. I donot think that VPN would even work with this speed (Mahraj! Your help please).
MK and Warriar,
I know that by negitiation I can get a good deal from these guys but like MK, I am a bit shy to shout over the phone and my office atmosphere makes it also very difficult to be on the phone for a very long time. If this could be done over the internet, I assure you that I would be getting all these services for free. I am good at the written form of communication but poor in the verbal form of communication.

Once you get everything sorted out, first thing to look at is software firewall...
