Good Job ... For a Radio Jockey, I found him Rude. Even though I liked Devika's Voice & presence - I hardly used to turn on because of Dr Sharda.

I'll check them today riding back home.

Very true....most of time I used to find him talking to himself. He only knows what he was talking all the time. The biggest turn off for all the radio channels is that they assume all indians are Punjabi/sikh in Canada and most of the talks are in punjabi. Also I never understood the point in having the 'laughing' segment on the show...you call, you laugh and all he says is 'next caller please'...thats so rude.

Good riddance.

Hiren

Yes, Hiren. Everbody in Canada assume that all Indians are Sikh/Punjabi .This is a very big TURN OFF for me.

And those Discussion Segments ... If Dr Saab does not agree, You don't even get to complete your sentence.

On a related note, some callers dont even bother to know what's going on while participating in the discussions. Many of them just repeat the suggestions from a previous caller or talk about something irrelevant to the ongoing discussion. At the same time the host is more interested in cutting off long duration calls even though the caller might have something interesting to say - guess they are more interested in quantity over quality..always in a hurry to switch to the next caller before finishing the current one. Real Estate is always 'Reel' estate :D ....

Why cant they listen to some local radio stations and learn a few things about successfully anchoring a radio show..:(

...or maybe the owner of the radio station is already successful with this crappy quality, why improve...:D

Sorry for the rant..need to vent off my frustration about these.:p
Hope someone related to these shows is reading.

Hiren

You are absolutely correct. Same with Dave Tatla Show. These guys even do not let the caller complete his/her sentence. Most of the hosts are totally unfir for the job. No good voice, no knowledge of the subjects, do not know how to prresent the show etc. i did not like at all Dr Sharda, Ranbir Chouhan, Dave Talta and Moin Jamal - He talks too much and much and much.

I mean like a comprehensive one that invites gurus pundits maven experts to voice their opinion? Even if it is a weekly program?
Please do let me and other CDs know. I am looking for one that does it in either English or Hindi(Hindustani).

If not, do you think there is a market for such a program? I do know that the majority of Indians are always looking for ways to to invest. As a matter of fact whenever there is a gathering invariably the talk shifts to investing.

Hi Investpro,

Are you planning to start one on this subject? I am raedy to partcipate right from inception to action.
