Hi all,
I was planning to come to canada in april,do my landing formalities and go back to india since I had a job in india and that too well paying.Now today i got one of the shocker of my life,I was told to leave the company,reason being not told be properly but i had a discussion,the reason seems to be my COST to company.Now if i dont have the job,should i comeback from CANADA because any ways I have to struggle for a job in India too..(because getting a job in india is tuff too these days,and even if u get it u shud be ready to work in call centres or stuff for 15-20k salary)..So is it better to struggle in India?or anywhich ways better to start a new life in Canada and think this as a god given opportunity to start a new life in canada?Iam telling its a god given opportunity because I had contracts till this year end with the existing employee and in case i left the job I had to pay good sum of money and now they are ready to waive off all the contracts....shud i take this as a signal from god because this has happened just 2 weeks before iam planning to go there
I would say that immigration to Canada is becoming tougher and now that you have got a chance, go for it. Come to Canada and start afresh.There would be obstacles in the way, have positive attitude and patience. You will overcome them.

I don't see Canadian immigration becoming tougher. We are still getting the same number of immigrants (about 240,000) as in the previous years.
The rules (occupation list and point system) have been tweaked a bit but numbers remained constant
