Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I am working on EAD's in USA with TekSystems.

Do you people still suggest me to consider moving to Canada at present conditions of IT or not.

I know this is personal decision.

We don't know the timeline of GC's here.

I mailed Canadian Embassy,Bufallo addressing situation and they are asking my File #.

How advisable giving them File # and contacting them

or
apply for Reentry Permit
or
Drive to Canada ,face the Immigration officer.

Which one is better?

There's no harm is giving them your file number.
Just make sure you got the email address from their website and not through some other source.

Which one is better?

You could take a chance and drive up to the border.
They seldom turn someone away completely.
Even if they do, you can go back and apply for Travel Document.
There're not going to confiscate your landing papers, obviously.

If they don't, they'll let you in and ask you to apply for PR Card immediately.
If the officer is strict, they may ask you to appear before an Immigration Appeals Board and prove your permanent resident status.

Or you can play it safe and apply for Travel Document right away.

Hi Dimple/Senior's

If I move to Canada with PR status and after getting PR card.

Can I apply "Visit visa" to USA and travel by Road once a month.

I am planning to keep my family here till my wife's project & daughter school year get completed.

What is your opinion.

Actuall I have contacted both New York & Bufallo.

Let me see what Buffalo center reply to me.
