Me and my husband are working in Dubai since 2005 but due to different nationality issues (India n Pakistan) we planned to move to common ground. Anyone can help how should we start the process? Do we get any benefits from govt for our kids? I heard federal skilled workers program us closed, can we still process our application for year 2013? I will be grateful if anyone can provide accurate information.

Your language skills are good. Let me refine the same. {My husband and me will be more appropriate} In communications with the Government and to any other officials, please do not use telegraphic language and abbreviations such as 'n' for and & 's' for yes. I also see you have two children, do include them too, to provide us with a clear picture of your family. That helps us immensely in showing you the right procedures with timings for their schooling and with all of the benefits that are made available to Permanent Residents here, by the Federal Government, who have children to immigrate with, into Canada

The materials posted here under this will tweak your curiosity and after a nice read and after digesting it, please drop in your questions under this link and I am sure you will get proper answers to them.

The FSW application process was put on hold for a few months by the Federal Government till 4th of May of this year (2013) and will restart on that day. I am sure the required number of applications will pour in very quickly and will also close the doors on a lot of the late filers after that. So, prepare yourself and get your application ready and keep your EYES and EARS open to the CIC website for the start of the filing dates.

YOU DO NOT need the help or assistance of any other REPRESENTATIVE to fill in your Application forms for a FEE, to complete this process. That will save you a lot of money and other aggravation that you might experience after the payment.

Please read and go through the materials provided to you here.

Not knowing your background, you can choose one of these groups/classes.
Federal Skilled Worker Class,
Federal Skilled Trades Class, and
Business Class

HERE IS AN APPLICATION FORM FOR FSW :

VERY NICE READ... (READING MATERIAL)
http://www.credentials.gc.ca/immigrants/workbook/workbook.pdf

There are allowances provided to the children, whose family income falls below the poverty level of Canadians. It is a substantial sum and decreases with the family income level, above that level it slowly decreases. That comes into play, after immigrating into Canada and the link to their allowances are here under this.

** The link will not open because the calculations were mine and very personal. But for two children it is about 717 dollars. Mmmm I'll be rich.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing this informaiton. I am having some more questions.

You mentioned I do not need any representative to fill up my application; I met one of them and they asked to pay 3500 US dollars as their application processing fee.
Can you please explain how can I submit my application; online or by courier mail?
Do we need to attest our education certificates for assesfrom our country (Embassy/ foreign affairs etc)?

I will read out the material from provided links and revert if I have more questions.

Thanks

Most of these consultants travel thousands of miles and take courses and study about Canadian Immigration and their laws and work under experts and then establish an office and a staff and promote themselves through ADs in different media and look out for clients and they have a large overhead and also they have to maintain themselves and so the charges are very reasonable.

BUT once they file the application..... they are GONE. So, after that you get a sinking feeling, because the Canadian Immigration Process has been a LONG and DRAGGED out battle that lasts years and years. People have a right to feel that they were duped into Immigration by these Consultants, because the OLD applications have been bundled and mothballed. Did the applicants loose or the fees paid to them returned? Did the applicants, who have been waiting for these few years, get any admission into Canada? What happened to them? Mmmm..!! They all have been made to look like goonie googoos.! And what is that??!!

These consultants can change the company name and still operate under darkness. For those who paid the money on a previous occasion for the same, now they are unable to locate the same consultants. Would you spend a like amount, once more, to apply to get into Canada after all of the waiting?

Did the Canadian Government pay the applicants the fees charged by the Consultants to the previous applicants, who lost money and also got kicked out of the QUEUE?

Why am I bringing this here !!

So, you will get FREE form filling service here from this Canadian Desi Website, with proper instructions and guidance and FOLLOW all of the instructions given by the Canadian Government to a 'T' and fill it PERFECTLY and get an Acknowledgement from them that it is "A" O.K. How is that for starters?

A bonus for the visitors to this website, who want to get into Canada.

READ THIS LINK FIRST :
<http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp>

Step 1: Gather documents

What documents are required?

You must gather and submit to the CIO all the documents listed on the Document Checklist (IMM 5612). Documents from the checklist are only to be submitted once to the CIO. Do not submit documents that are not found on the checklist and do not send duplicates of your application or documentation.

"Documentation submitted with your application will not be returned". You should obtain multiple originals of any documentation submitted with your application (such as reference letters, police certificates) so you are prepared if you need to submit a new application.

You must keep a copy of the completed forms and all documents before sending them to the CIO.

<http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf>

Please go through this link in detail and follow it truthfully. DO NOT SUBMIT ORIGINALS, unless they return the same to you back... SUCH AS A PASSPORT After Stamping for VISA or ENTRY INTO CANADA.
<http://international.gc.ca/about-a_propos/authentication-authentification_documents.aspx?view=d>

FH

ON the RIGHT hand side you will see what they want. Either a certified COPY or an ORIGINAL. The Original is GONE. So also the copies. If you have a personal interview and they want to look at the ORIGINALS, then keep a list of submission to the Canadian Immigration Offices so you know what it is that they want to see at the interview, besides other things...

MAKE A FEW COPIES OF EACH SUBMISSION for your files.

<http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf>

You can get these forms through the mail if you make a request to them. Alternately PRINT out the forms from the website.

The location to submit will be provided in that bundle, after due completion.

Start filling out the form and look at what are all the items you will need STARTING with NUMBER "1" and go to NUMBER "21"

Now I have made it look so simple, any one can sit down and do it....

Thanks FH your info is very useful. I will printout the application tomorrow with documents checklist. The representative told me we need to sent our education certificates for assessment before submitting the application, but in the links we need to i submit the application directly. I need to study the complete process first. I will revert tomorrow what I understand about the process of application. But can you please tell me do we require attested educational certificates how we do it for UAE employment? The reason I am asking my brother is in Pakistan, if I need anything from there I will do it in one go.
