I am a canadian citizen and I am looking forward to buy a gas station in US. Can I get my E2 visa after getting my business closed? What should I be telling the officer at the port of entry. Do I need to carry any proofs of this business? Will they allow me inn the US without a visa? Please...Please Help me...Thanx in advance!!

It tells you what you need to do to obtain E2 classification from outside the US.
I am not sure if the POE is equipped to review and approve an E2 applicant. Consequently, even if you show up at the POE with all documents, they may deny and ask you to apply through a consular process.
Having said that, there is no harm in trying since all they would do is deny entry for that time and ask you to return after completing the process via proper channels.
