How to increase traffic to my website and earn???

You probably have a small site with a few articles. You cannot hope to make a ton of money from that. You need a lot of fresh content updated frequently.
Adsense, affiliate marketing, etc., come later when you have a steady stream of visitors to your site. If you have Adsense on your blog, you have to play by their rules since they have a system to ban your blog if they suspect anything about the clicks coming from your blog.
It is cut throat competition to get visitors to your site, so if you are doing as a hobby without any time commitment then do not focus too much on the money making part.
You can join forums like digitalpoint, webmaster's junction, warriorforum, etc. Just Google for it, there are tons of such forums.

Post link of your block ... we will comment it .. so u get few more visitors 
don't be disappointed , stick to it and improve with time , you will start getting result...

Thanks everyone! Points noted. hchheda - I used to spend hours writing reviews etc on various sites. Then I thought why not start my own site & write there. My interest lies in both cooking and writing restaurant reviews.
Yes there isn't much content in it. The blogs you see were written when I was still in India. After moving here, there has been no time. All our evenings are spent doing household chores & weekends on roaming Moreover, I'm not violating any policy by asking anyone to click on Ads. I'm just more keen on increasing traffic
Posted an ad on Classified as suggested by TK. Couldn't find appropriate category, hence submitted under Miscellaneous.

Hey , I am sorry to say but your site is very simple.. you need to make discussion board, let people login and let them put their info and share their idea as well...
Like Charcha section on CD forum...
Also, put more categories for food and travels
only your experience will not boost your site, you need to invite more people
but i must say its very good start ,,, keep increse it with more ideas
You can put link of some of the unique recipe , exp: Surti Undhiyu (i'm gujju and i m in love with this - so there might be some other recipe of other locality - find it and put it )

But what I'm trying to have is a personal website where only I write and readers can comment. Discussion Forum n stuff - maybe later when there are enough visitors.
Yes I'll add more recipes in the future. It will all be easy/healthy recipes. No complex stuff
