I have applied for my mother’s immigration in 2003. She got her medicals yesterday.
In the mean while i also applied for visitors visas for her and luckily she got that. She is planning to come to Canada on 14th June (Tickets everything confirmed).
My question to the experts is that; once she is over here in Canada and if New Delhi asks for her passport for issuing her Permanent Residence Visas, what is the procedure. Can she send the passport to New Delhi from here? Say if she receives her passport with Visas how can she do her landing?
I would appreciate your quick response as time is very short for me.
Your reply should be that the mother is on holidays and will be back at such and such time to present her papers. If her medicals are done than why bring here here for holidays? Wait till the visas come in. Unless there was an emergency for her to come over for wedding of someone death!
Good Luck

I may not agree with your opinions, but I will fight to death for you be able to air your views.
When your mother got medical Inerview?
And I would like to know when she got visitor visa?
Did she have finished her medical already before coming to canada on June 14th.
I would say, If she have done medical (if not dealy her trip until medical is finished, it will take only 1/2 days to do medical) .. then let her come here for trip. I didn't like comment from 'kanjis' that if there is death or weedding only bring here. Parent is not only for that. I understand your feeling... bring her here after medical is done to visit and enjoy and have a nice time in family.
then when you hear from immigration in india about passport submission, she can return back and then come again when visa get issued.
Defniatly it will take atleast 6 month to get this process.. I know atleast to get clear medical it takes 2-3 month.. so why not she stays here for 2-3 month.
If you really concerns about not sending her at all, may be you can transfer her file from India - Canada. But you may loose some time line in transfering her case in canada. And meantime if her visa get expire.. then she has to go to india.. if not get extesion..and if does then .. again all fine. means you hve to take chances.
I would like to knw pls when you have applied for your mother's visitor visa.. I had applied in past and got rejected at the time when they were rejecting everyone's. looks they have started to give everyone..
