I agree. Send a small (simple) thank you card... and if you bake (or someone in your family does) send over a cake, or some other 'goodies'.

As others mentioned, it doesnt have to be 'tit for tat' - reciprocate later when the opportunity comes up.

I agree with morning_rain. It does not have to be tit for tat. You can reciprocate later when the ocassion arises.

bhai...curry .....treat him with curry....they go banana over that.....if u can, treat him butter chicken...see how fast he will get trained to your voice...:) I am joking....show him gesture of neighbour love, couple of beers are never considered favor ....beer day is always friendship day

My neighbour banged my car in Winnipeg.....when he came to pay for the damages I offered him beer ....that's it....he does not feel bad over the money loss :)
Incidently I always keep kingfisher in stock and offer them saying it is Indian Beer, try it for taste
