Hi,
I came to Canada as an internaitonal student in early 2002. I would request if anyone can update me with info on, if I can apply for landed immigrant status or any other status? My student visa expires in early 2005 and my degree has approximately good 3 years to go.
Thanking you,
Nish.
You can apply now if you meet the minimum requirements and passmark of 67.

There is an online test for skilled class applicant, it will give you a better idea of the process.
browse through

it has a wealth of information there.
I hope this helps.

2. i have 3 years work experience during my graduation in my family business will this count.

Sucess is not an accident it is a result of hardwork with intelligence.
1. Not accurate. You can apply if you score 67.
2. Your studies and work experience will count if you can substantiate [provide proof]. Of course, claims like yours are increasing now and CHC will get more and more suspicious especially when it's 'family business'.
You can try and if it's genuine & turned down by CHC, it can be appealed to Federal Court.
