I had earlier sent an email but not replied so far. I will be migrating to Toronto - Canada this year. My son is doing his IInd year BCom in India for which he will appear for his final exams in March 2008 and after that we will migrate Has he to secure admission in College/University like any other student who comes for further studies or he will get his admission on the PR basis. Will he get admission in the third year or he will have to repeat the years which he has completed in India.

Welcome to Canada. Hope you find a suitable position soon and settle down.
As you say, your son is considered as a dependant and based on this fact, you could have included him in your application and the Canadian Immigration might have considered him as one, and given him immigration too. So ask them the same question in a letter and seek directions to follow. If he comes as a dependant, then he can stay here and study further with your support and assistance as a back up. (Please look for the age limits in their website,)
Getting entry into an University: You should address this question to a university that is closest to the place where you intend to settle down. His gaining entry into a university depends upon the acceptance and the recognition provided by the accepting university to the one he studied at and the grades (level) he obtained there. You will need to secure an entry to the next level at a university that he wants to pursue his studies here in Canada. You will have to do the spade work and also select one. You will be in a better position to provide him the most needed support when he is close by.
Please conbsider this is an alternative solution, if he does not get the entry as a dependant immigrant.
I did not get to see your previous letter and hence I did not respond to it.
Hope this helps.
Freddie.
There is a lot of help and support available at the Indian End at three different cities and you may please look for my response provided to other immigrants here in Charcha. Fr.
