Dear Massodji...

Thank you so much for giving instant replies......and sorry....I wasnt very clear in my query.

What I actually meant was.....when we get an advice from CHC after acceptance of medicals, is it safe to courier pps to London CHC rather than the second option here in Dubai i.e. getting the visa stickers to Abu Dhabi?

Dear Massoodji,

It is 5 months now after submitting medical and we still have not received our visa . As per your earlier advice we had insisted that our consultants send a follow up which they were reluctant, but said they finally did, that was about a fortnight ago. Now they say we should not keep following up as the visa officer will get annoyed...and had some storied to say about how someone had to answer and interview even after getting a waiver and medicals done.....just because he was following up!

We intended to land in the summer (due to convenience of school holidays) and come back to work for a year or so....and are getting desperate now...

Do you think our papers are held up due to some problems in our application? Is there any way to find the reason...

- I DON'T KNOW DETAILS OF YOUR APPLICATION AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT WAS PRESENTED TO THE EMBASSY. THAT ITSELF COULD BE A FACTOR BUT I HAVE NO SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE.

Is there any way to find the reason...
- A LAWYER CAN ALWAYS GET BETTER RESULTS BECAUSE A LAWYER IS NOT AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS OF THE EMBASSY. A LAWYER CAN ALWAYS THREATEN TO GO TO COURT FOR HIS/HER CLIENT. A CONSULTANT CAN'T AND THAT'S WHY THEY HESITATE TO VENTURE.

- IT IS NOT TRUE THAT THE VISA OFFICER WILL GET ANNOYED BECAUSE OF CONSTANT FOLLOW-UP. THEY CAN CONTINUE TO KEEP QUIET BUT HE/SHE CANNOT PUNISH YOU.

IT HAS HAPPENED MANY TIMES WHERE WE WRITE TO THE EMBASSY ABOUT GOING TO COURT TODAY [AFTER GETTING FED UP WRITING POLITE LETTERS] AND CLIENTS RECEIVE THIR VISAS WITHIN A WEEK.
