hi there, sorry if this is a repost, i tried to find another questions similar to this but was unable to.. here is my question. i am planning on applying for OCI for me and my 2 kids, and was wonder if my husband would also be able to apply for OCI aswell. his parents are both from india and now are canadian citizens but have their old indian passports but my husband was born in canada. i called the VFS and have gotten a yes he can, and a no he can't from different branches. so i am confused. can you pls help clarify this for me.

Since he is of major age and Cdn born, I think he needs to apply based on his parents' prior Indian citizenship.
Applying for a minor child is straightforward as it is a dependant application.

You can still apply as a family. Only documentation diifers as per individual cases.
