Sur-Taal Inc. is Canadian registered organization that aims to organize an annual contest for singers in North America titled Ek Raaz Ek Awaaz – discover the singer in you. Sur-Taal Inc. announces that this contest is open to participants of any ethnicity above the age of 16 that embraces Indian songs and music. Sur-Taal is in its first year, scheduled the final contest as follows:
Event: Ek Raaz Ek Awaaz – discover the singer in you
Genre: Open Canada Singing Competition
Date: September 6, 2013
Time: Doors open at 6:00pm
Venue: The Rose Theatre, Brampton
Auditions: To be announced
Celebrity Judge: Anu Malik, the Bollywood’s magical music director and the fame of Indian Idol (six seasons)
Preliminary Judges: Anuj Rastogi, Aruna Narayan Kalle, Asha Sabharwal, Raman Kant, Manoj Chaman
Title sponsor of the event, Team Sabharwal proudly presents Ek Raaz Ek Awaaz – discover the singer in you, a Canada wide singing competition that is an exclusive platform for singer to be judged by winner of multiple, prestigious awards and internationally acclaimed music director of the Indian Cinema none other but the Bollywood Star: Anu Malik.
Anu Malik has been judging the television phenomenon Indian Idol for the last five seasons and continues to be a member of the jury for the sixth season as well.
As a chief celebrity judge, Anu Malik, son of veteran music director Sardar Malik, will also be present for a meet and greet on September 5, 2013 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel and Convention Centre.
Besides that, Toronto’s pool of talent come together on the panel of preliminary judges promises to provide mentorship to the winner and to get ready for the B-Town.
Yes, Sur-Taal provides an exclusive opportunity for the winner is to fly back and forth to Mumbai, visit professional recording studios along with Anu Malik and explore the chances of singing for the Indian Cinema.
