I want to start this topic because lot of CDs may be looking for buying home soon. I am in same boat in Vancouver where market is really crazy.
I think we all CD especially who are living in Canada for long, having own homes or in this real state business can share their views.
I read lot of discussion forms and exert comments that market in Vancouver is at highest level of bubble. But how long it will go nobody can predict. Here I am also confused like lot of others when to buy home, or wait.
Any advice, comments, expertise, future predictions are welcome.
Here in Vancouver condo pricing already 2-10K less than asking started. How about in other cities?
Are you looking for townhouse/condo or single family house. I am also totally confused and find prices in Greater Vancouver crazy. But still prices are increasing. Do you find condo prices decreasing (as it looks from your below post).

It will crash by the end of the year. The prices are too much.

You know you are a desi when ........ You spew forth the virtues of India, but don't want to live there...............You've never had a tanning salon membership
I am looking townhouse. I can not afford single family house in nice area and I don’t want to live in condo also.
But just watching everything how trends are going. Condo is first market that will effect if bubble burst. when.....?
Don’t ever think of buying in Vancouver. You don’t want to loose your shirt.
Buy Brampton, Newmarket, GTA. price will increase 4 to 5% for another 2-3 years. Interest rate will come down in 2 years.
To invest - best bet it Alberta,- Calgary(55% increase), Edmonton(33 % increase) - Oil prices are not going to come down soon.
Wait for some more time. It starts shaking all over Canada. Here in Vancouver people already start feeling scared who is holding few apartments just for sale.
