Hey dude I understand your concern with this issue but it's all upto you on how you take it. The same thing will happen to you anywhere you go, even in our home country there is this north south shit happening. It's just a normal human behaviour of expressing jealousy over the other party. The best solution to this is just laugh it off and not take a word to heart. If you do this you will find that these miscreants will never do the same again and in fact try to become your friend. Try giving it a laugh next time and don't over react or worry yourself too much about it. People who do it have a problem not us, so think that its only because they feel insecure about themselves that they do this and only if you are insecure yourself will you worry and waste you time and energy and life thinking about it.
Just forget it and learn to chillax and don't go around looking for people trying to behave odd or indifferent towards you. Just ignore the whole issue and before you know it you will find things are lot more better for you!
Cheerz and be happy.
Matt
I agree with Matt, as if racism does not exist in UK or anywhere else in the world. Just to inform you- you had written- 'It seems to me that the white society have a problem with hard working, successful asians, who come to their country and do extremely well for themselves'. Canada is a country of immigrants.. it does not belong to the white society... all people living here have migrated from other countries.' One last suggestion- please do not have a victicm mentality... it is very harmful... discrimination is every where in this world.. its part of human nature. As you mentioned, do well, work hard, if anyone has a problem.. dont carry that baggage with you.. its too much weight to bother with..
