Here is my situation:
I contributed 10K to my wife's RRSP (Spousal RRSP) in 2006. After 90 days (avoid the 89-day restriction), my wife withdrew this 10K under HBP for our first home.
In early 2008, she repaid the full amount to her own RRSP as designated HBP replayment. In late 2008, she withdrew all these 10K from her RRSP.
For both 2007 and 2008, I have contributed to her RRSP (Spousal RRSP).
My question is: whether her withdraw of 10K in 2008 will count as my income or her income?
I assume it should count as her income since she withdrew from her own RRSP. But if this is true, then we can use HBP to transfer spousal RRSP to regular RRSP and withdraw it immediately without the 3-year restriction?
Thanks
I think your assumption is right. (This is just my view. Do not have an experience)
I've question for u.
When you withdraw for HBP from your RRSP, what kind of information you need to provide?
Do you need to provide home address/home ownership documents?
Thanks in Advance

When you withdrew from RRSP, you did not own the home yet. So you do not need to give ownership document. However, you need to fill in the home address (to be bought).
Details see the form T1036, which is the form you need to fill and hand to bank for HBP.
Any expertise about my original question (see my first post)?
