Sir / madam:
I see that you had read my mail but you still have not replied to my mail box.

Expecting your quick reply so that the ticket can be arranged at the earliest and that I can support your mother for her travel to Canada.

But if you are a Cheepo, then please book a Wheel Chair or look at Kijiji for lowball quotes for the help.

Full house Sir,
I am aware of the post.
If the lady will get me the tTicket to Canada, then I will help her mom to Kokkatta.

Flight ticket will be like :

Cochin- New Delhi-Toronto - STOP
START- Toronto - Abu DHabi - Kolkatta.- STOP

From Kolkatta, I will take a train.

DHaikin : Understood. But a sane person will google for knowledge. To put advertising services in Charcha is what we donot need. I have taken the liberty to say that but Admins. can repremand me, if I have said anything bad.

Tamilkuravan, I know a little bit about the travel and the help they seek. Most of them get the wheelchair services and get by. Lord, they all can walk after they reach the terminals. That is a miracle.

Knowing the Parents and depending how old they are and how scary they get when they are alone and not knowing the language makes them even more vulnerable. Also without some one to take care of them and their carry on baggage when they want to access the washrooms etc., even with the wheelchair services, it does not help much.

Some of the breaks are 4 to 6 hours and it is good to have someone who will watch over them.

We as their children, at a time like this, want to make sure that our elderly Parents reach their destination very safely and settle down comfortably. It is the break in the journey at an unknown intermediate stop that worries me too.

May be, very soon, they all will have DIRECT flights to each and every destination.

You tried your best. The next time you want to visit us here, let me know a little earlier. Will prepare for your arrival here. The first bowl of soup is Free on all of us here. Joking.!!

Take care.

FH.

Sir,
I frequently take domestic flights in India.
What I am observing is that perfectly healthy peoples are misusing the Wheelchair sytem just because the airlines offer it. They are boarded first and disembarked last. May be they pay R s100 or Rs 200 as tips.

This is not good.

Anyways, I wish the OP gets a free one. He / she has not responded to my mail, though I see that it has been read.

One of my own friend did that to a perfectly healthy/walk-able parents. First, they wasted enough time of theirs (and my parents) by waiting for the Wheelchairs to arrive, and then complained nonchalantly about the free (and good) service.

I could not help but nodded my head to their very attitude.
