hi everybody
i am chemical engineer working in the field of environment engg in a MNC AS plant head. i am 2002 pass out and got admissions from usa and cnada for pursuing my higher studies i.e MS in chemical engg. i am chossing canada as its cheap and getting PR is easy after getting qualification. please guide me is my supposition correct and how easy it is to get PR after doing 2yrs study in canada and getting job after that.
regards
Actually doing an MS is good but u have not stated which Univ u have got addmission into?? And after u do ur PG you are eligible for a work permit for 1 year (Thats only if u get a work in 90 days after ur education. That should not be a problem) About PR u can apply as soon u land here, if u have enough points. The current required points is 67. U should be able to get that. It should take approxmately 1-1.5 years to get ur PR if every thing goes well.
All the best

Dear All
let me tell you story i am a chemical engineer from india GRE 2000, TOEFL 287 and got admission in 2 univ in canada for 2 yrs MS in chemical engg in fall 2003 term. i got required student authorization also but at the last moment i delayed my admision as it was valid for 12 months and i got a job in a MNC as plant manager so i thougt getting some experience will help me in canada.
and my admission is valid over 12 months and my visa is valid till aug 2005 so i will join in jan 2004. this delay was confirmed by the univ.
then i recieved a letter from the univ stating that they cant fins a suitable supervisor for me so i cant start my progranm in jan 04. the amsision offer from other univ is valid in june 04 so now please tell me what action can i take against the univ the univ is univ of saskatchewan as they had earlier allowed me in jan 04 and now they r refusing.
secondly if i join dalhousie univ for the same program in june 04 then i have to apply for visa again???
plzz reply soon
