Think Positive-2
By:

Hi readers.

First of all thanks for reading my articles and rate my article.

I am again here to write on same topic but today also one of our reader submit article about labour job and all

Is that only thing you have to do here? You don’t have any other option than labour? If you are educated like doctor, engineer etc, why don’t you qualify or equivalent exams here? why are you afraid of these exams? Govt here even support for OCAP and UI as all desi know very well and as I said earlier if you are doctor from canada, Indian govt won't allowed you do practice as doctor there you have to clear exam there too and there no OCAP or UI for you. Then why you expect from here, I agree that here labour job and all, but have you found any discrimination for work? even manager and owner do mob and all then what’s new. So think positive.

And canada is good country for educated no dought but you have to qualify. Jow much you were getting in india? 5000Rs salary for teachers? 4000Rs for engineers? If you are experienced than you can get 10000Rs. Thats it? And here how much you are getting? What is future there for your children? Violence? Polution? I am not against india. I love my country my place. But I am against those who live in canada who want to live all life but they dont like canadian life? why so? If you dont like then why you are still here? why no one wants to go back india? Thats it if you like my article just rate me. And if you have any question do not hesitate email me at

Morning Rain,
If it is 70K per year (as per your estimate), the rate comes to :
$35.89 for 37.5 hours per week job
$33.65 for 40.0 hours per week job.
Let us wait for 7Wonders to clarify.

A Pharmacy assistant (one who requires a certificate or diploma of short duration) will make closer to what you all estimate.

which pharmacist I am talking about??? I was only questioning one thing that 7 wonders is talking about a person studying here and making that money, and then he is saying why can't immigrants make the same. I just said Canadian education and experience

Hi Babail,

What are you are writing is absolutely the true situation here in Canada. Even I am going thro' the same situation.

One has to portray the true situation as you & so many others on this website are doing. People should definitely know about the situation.

Rgds.

Deleted by TK-Wrong interpretation
TK
Sidenote : I know a vet. doctor from india. he was single. he was a PR.He could not get a job with his indian vet. degree. So he wanted to take the Canadian vetrinary licence progrem. He studied for 3 1/2 years now (working part time as labourer and then assistant to a vet @ $13 / hour salary). He still has not fully passed it. To me , i think studying for a course (which you had already done is a waste of time). How much money to you spend to learn the same thing again. if i go to take a Architecture course in Canada, they will start by teaching me how to sharpen a pencil etc... I donot need that i have already done that. See the IT people. they start their job from day 1 . why do other professions need Canadian training , experience etc.... Even IT people write codes for applications that affect human life (aircraft control codes etc..). So why should a doctor, Vet, Architect, Engineer need to go through what he already knows.

Hi TK
-->I would suggest one thing if you want to know Registered pharmacist salary just check website or ask any pharmacist who has license.
-->I dont know about Eng or Architech but i know for sure about Vet Doctor and Pharmacist that the practice here and India is littlbit different so they need to study to practice here.
Please dont write without any knowledge to mis guide others.
Thanks.

7wonders,
With all due respect,
I am not misguding anyone. I am just stating what i know. Agreed that people who come to study here (how ever bad the course might be) end up in some sort of jobs an get workpermit (a thing which most/some immigrants are unable to do so). Also i have seen thatmany of the immigrants who are in labour jobs and do a course in Canada are still unable to get into the profession of the course.
But what i am really a loss to know is that how come $45 per hour came in to question. You had told me the $45/ hour and you are not substantiating where you got this figure.
As far as i know , except IT people and top management people or self employed, no one can get $45/hour salary.
Comments appriciated.
TK
