Our recently issued Canadian passports donot have the address on it. However on page 4 there is provision for filling address.
I am palnning to go to US by road next week, is it required to fill the current address if we show our passport at the border. I know at this moment we dont need passport , driving licence would do, but for kids they need to show passport as they dont have canadian birth certificate.
Do I have to fill the current address or leave it blank as Iam planning to move from this place to a new place - still in canada in couple of months.
Does leaving this page create any problems at the border.
Any info will be appreciated.
Hi colgate !
I cross border regularly with my Can PP w/o having any address filled . I never had any troubles . It might be worth to write address by pencil in case you feel insecure for any reason ..

You can put your current address on the passport and later on change by yoursef on the next page when you move to the new address.
I have done it.
