Kaise ho sab?
Just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm back from a long vacation in India. Had lots of fun, but I don't want to make everybody jealous by mentioning about all the awesome food I ate. It sucks to come from 15 degrees to -15, but have to get back to work.
Cheers!!

any good experience to share?

I went after 4 years, so met a lot of friends and relatives after a long time. That was great. Flew kites on the 14th and 15th, that was so much fun.
Other than that, the best experience was going to Goa for 3 days with a friend. The beaches, food and the people were awesome.
India, after 4 yrs. has changed a lot. On the up side, you see more wealth (new shiny cars all around), more technology and better consumer services all across ( I was really impressed by Jet Airways service locally, very pretty stewardesses too). On the downside, more pollution, more congestion and chaotic infrastructure that just keeps getting worse. Pollution is the worst part in big cities, nobody's doing anything about it and it just keeps getting worse by the minute.
But overall, it was great and I can't wait to go back again.

Hello,
We are located in the same environment as you have described in India. India is great for a few days of sight seeing. Once you get into the monsoon you are stuck.
Waiting for our number to visit your snowy land.

or
The grass is greener on the other side. That's very true.
I don't mean to discourage you, but in my personal opinion a Indian monsoon is better than a Toronto winter.
Its a pretty depressing view from my 15th floor apt. right now, I'm praying everyday for summer to come back. I don't mind the cold, but this always overcast gloomy weather stuff is getting to me....
Can't beat Toronto in Summer however...
