Dear All,

My parents came here on visitor visa and will be here until July 20. So I would like to show them some good places. I will be taking them to Niagra falls, Marineland, Lion Safari. Apart from that, I would like some suggestions from our fellow Desi's for any other places to visit around GTA.

Any suggestions will be highly appreciated..

Go for Berry picking...

Go along the Niagara Parkway when you go Niagara Falls... nice little drive.

Tobermory is an awesome place if they like the outdoors and nature. From there you can go to Manitoulin Island via Ferry. You can ferry your car too to the island and wander around the parks, beaches and forests. Tobermory is only a couple of hrs drive from GTA and your parents will love it. Try to rent bread and breakfast and make it a couple of days trip. Its worth it.

You can use Toronto City Pass to cover 5 important spots of Toronto including ZOO and CN Tower. Its almost 50% savings in price. Cost around $59 (CAD).

If you want drive out of GTA then there are many places as RBO and BASH suggested. You can drive to Montreal and Ottawa too.

The first ritual - Niagara Falls.
And, specifically for parents, temples. Usually in Aug ("Shravan" month) hindu temples have "Ramayan" or "Krishna" "path" or something similar. I know my Mom and in-laws really liked it.

I really never knew about some places as suggested by Naturemom- Berry picking and Niagra parkway, Bash -Tobermory, RBO - Blu mountain,Fort erie etc.

Now I have a good list of places to visit this summer with parents and already started working on this family fun project !!!!! Again credit goes to all of you !!!!
