I absolutely love that place.

How many days are you staying there?

1.Boat Tour
2.Hiking
3.Beaches
If you are looking for nature, gorgeous water n swim time there are plenty of small beaches around - Saubal is getting too far commercial

Thanks, for Boat tour : is it from only one place ? or few places like 1000 islands....where to get it ?
we just plan one day...no stay....

1000 islands has it own boat cruises. 1000 Islands and Tobermory are 600 kms apart. Hope you are not confusing between the 2 places.

I would suggest you not to stay in Tobermory. There are very few motels and not of good quality and very expensive. Stay in Owen Sound where you can find good and cheap motels and thn drive to Tobermory which not too far from Owen Sound.

And yes you can include Loin's Head too in your trip, it is a wonderful place around 30 min. before Tobermory.

One day @ Bruce is tight n hectic with kids. But doable if u start early.

Boat Tour starts from one place ... its about 2 hours of ride. There are I think 3-4 tours a day ... I suggest you go buy ticket first so you can plan out your other activities ...

Call Local Information Centre ... They even have list of rental cottages.

Owen Sound is good/cheap option to stay ... another option is Lion's Head (lionsheadinn).

There are plenty of Cottages as well with meal.
