1) Manulife Limited Pay UL - 20 pay - $2810 (total cost $56,200)

after 20 years guaranteed cash value is $55,200
after 30 years guaranteed cash value is $95,600

2) Greatwest Life Universal Life Insurance - 20 pay - $2914 (total cost $58,280)

after 20 years guaranteed cash value is $37,640
after 30 years guaranteed cash value is %74,156

3) SunLife Limited Pay Life - 20 pay - $3340 (total cost $66,800)

after 20 years guaranteed cash value is $45,952
after 30 years guaranteed cash value is $86,948

Also, their is no investment part. I just like these b/c you can pay more in one year ... so a bit more flexible.

My worry is not Assuris. That one I know is safe. More like which company is better in say processing claims, more straight forward and just a better policy.

If forum members can post their reply here would appreciate - that will benefit all.

Thanks in advance.

By the way, here is a rough comparison/proposal from my side.

For you and assuming that you are a non smoker/non tobacco person,

Option - 1 (if I match the Guarnteed CASH VALUES)

$400,000 of coverage
20 years of premium payment
Premium would be cheaper by $500 every year. You would be paying $11,000 less than your first option (Manulife).

Option - 2 (if I match your premium comfort (option 1 is the cheapest, Manulife)

$400,000 of coverage
20 years of premium payment
Guaranteed CASH after 20 years would be $20,000 more than the the quote, you have got.

Regards,

VJ.

Can you mention the names of the companies in Option 1 and 2 as per your proposal [in the thread, rather than via PM - for the benefit for the forum members]

thanks in advance

Honestly, I wanted to stop this, the moment I read your reply. Anyways, as I have written this earlier and many times, Life insurance can not be compared to other commodities, where you would like to benefit others in a forum.

I thought, your first interest was to genuinly compare, what you have got for yourself and what I offer to my clients. Your mindset, parameters and need of buying would be different than others and hence, I tried to address you as an individual.

Regards,

VJ.

OK VJ , As it seems you are quite experienced in Insurence field. Can you put some more details about different type of policies with the pro & cons for Each. This will be benefitial for whole CD Community . I am looking for some more info on Whole Life, Universal Life & Permanent Life. If you do not have time, you can just post some links.

Hi Desi_driler,

It seems, you have not checked your PM. I want your phone number to talk further on the insurance need you have. Can you give that on my inbox please?

Regards,

VJ.

I think no data is available to rate a company based on this criteria only. Company ratings are based on many other facts that may or may inlcude time to process claims.

just a better policy.

Again impossible to answer. As VJ pointed, what suits you may not suit others. Get a second opinion.
