hello sir,

sir, i have filed the application for my spouse in cic mississauga on 23/04/2010 and now its 17/07/2010 and i have not received any letter from cic mississauga.sir, its my second marriage and i have sponsored for my spouse and her dependent child.can u plz help me to know the reason for this delay?

my wife's and the depndent child's medicals are gonna expire in november ending and we have not received any letter or confirmation from mississauga..plz help me to know the reason for the delay.its very tough for me to wait.its very frustrating.plz help:-(

Harjinder,

I would recommend calling CIC and see what they are saying. I believe you should have got the receipt confirmation at least.

P.S: You don't have to use "sir" on this forum. There are few professionals in the business who may volunteer to help you but really we are pretty much like yourself.

thankx manjeet for your reply.well manjeet,neither i have not got any receipt confirmation nor i have got AOR..i am feelingvery helpless and now i dont know that what to do at this high time..coz its been soo long i have applied for the sponsorship and still their is no reply:-(

Dear Harjinder,

I would suggest that you call up CIC at 1-888-242-2100 to find out the status of your application. As per the status, they are now processing applications received upto June 3, 2010. You should have heard from them by now.

Being your second marriage should not make any difference at this stage, as long you are meeting the eligibilty criteria to sponsor.

By the way, did you track your application on Canada Post website to see when did they actually receive the application?

dear parveen,

i called the cic mississauga help line number and they said me that my file is under processing and i will receive a letter from them within this week...and if i do not get the letter by this monday then i should call them again on upcoming monday..they also gave me my client-id number but when i checked my status, it showed that \"we are unable to identify your file.\"

can u plz tell me how to check my e-cas...and what is expected in the future from them...how much time it will take to get the file transferred to delhi office???

Your client ID is the eight digit number mentioned on your PR Card, adjascent to your picture. You can also check the status of your application by mentioning fee receipt number. If you go to cic.gc.ca and click on check application status, it will ask you for the identification type and that's where you mention either the client ID or the receipt number.

sir,
its didnt worked for me...i entered my client-id number and all teh other information required but they say dat they are unable to identify by the information provided...and i ma expecting a leeter from them in dis week..
