OMG, people seriously have time.
I follow the principle of whats in it for me .. and that s why am back in india, you know, walk the talk.
Wondering, apart from the emotional aspect, how does it affect or even effect, decision (of expats), if india became third or forth power.
Yes America sold arms to pakistan and dah dah dah, but still now india is not comfortable with Usa proximity , what does usa govt have to do to gain indian politicians trust, i mean two white house presidential dinner special guest invitation (me think first time to any one ) but still indian politicians take every thing with a pinch of salt (me think canadian politicians trained indian politicians, you know like dummies guide to deal with american politicians)
I do not follow south india politics hence please some one originally from Tamil nadu guide me the reason behind Karuna nidhi s comment, about Shri Ram being an drunkard, i mean who are the other players parties and why, coz just my mind is stuck on it.

There is big difference in being optimistic and being jingoistic. We celebrate too much for something too little that we achieve too late in the game and are convinced we will be a super Power sooner than latter. That I think is not very strategic nor intelligent on our part nor the Indian Govt. Indian Govt is to be blamed for this as they tend to sway peoples' concentration from bad governance to Super Power ambitions to make themselves look good. Super Power ambitions should be guided by visions. What has been India's vison? Up to now it has not been revealed. I would like to believe it is a secret they dont want to share with the world at this time. If that's true, then ambitions to be a super power should also not be revealed nor discussed even if other countries are pointing to it.
In my opinion the only time we should know we are headed to be a super power is when a country warns the world about India's ambitions and not praise it. Upto now, the only countries that want to call/praise India a super power are those that have and want more trade with a booming economy that is India. I dont know if that will translate into these countries not selling weapons to Pak, not trading with China which I think would be India's first step towards Super Power Status. Untill then let us and our govts be very humble in our achievements and celebrate less and less loudly and strategically.

Gas prices/inflation is at a all time high in india but they not complaining.
Moodys is complaining that CWG issue may affect investment, but who cares, they are least bothered even the ruling congress is involved in settling personal scores.
coz you guys fail to understand the fabric of india, which is still based
On personal words or face, caste or not as a individual but collective as a group ,
