We are planning on filing for PR once we land in Canada in the month of July. When we were going thru the documents that we need to submit along with the application, I saw that we need notarized degree certificates and also the employment certificates need to be notarized. Is it a must to get these certificates stamped by a notary official. Please calrify ..
All the documents that are not original i.e. photocopies have to be notarized.
As the employment certificates have to be on the company's letter head they do not have to be notarized.
Hope this helps. Most probably you know this but just for information sake you have to have legally stayed in Canada for 1 year before you can apply for Canadian immigration.
Thanks for all the info Kenny.
