My wife has a B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation, do they have a P.Engg for such qualification...i know pretty basic question...but I am not from engineering background...hence not aware of that...appreciate your response...

It depends mainly on the field of work. I am a BE in Electronics and communication and my filed of work was industrial automation and controls engineering. It was my job scope to design the panels and associated controls and stamp them as they are safety related equipments. It was essential for me and helped me to get recognition for my work and prospects.
If your wife is in the field of instrumention, I think it certainly helps to have a P.Eng. Again, P.Eng is not mandatory but certainly helps to get the recognition.
