Let us take an example of Canadian health care system. According to stats it is over loaded because there are less doctors and more patients. What a common man can contribute is to keep himself healthy so that there will be less burden in future. To keep himself healthy he has to adopt some lifestyle changes e.g. don't eat fast foods, don't drink soft drinks etc, do exercise. Do you think a common man can sacrifice this which seems possible without much effort?
How many common men have ability to adopt these changes?
What do you expect.. write it..
A foreign citizen with OCI status, what can he do to improve in India who is still responsible..

India" and it is true for me and may be for some other users in this forum.
There is no end to debate about good and bad of India / Canada. At one point, we have to choose India/Canada. It is always better to decide as early as possible.
I believe many users already decided that they will move back to India but they are not sure when? if this is correct and if you don't mind to inform your decision everyone in this forum, can we discuss about ....
Where do you want to move in India? and when? (approx. within how many years)
What kind of opportunity you are looking in India?
What is preventing you to move back to India today?
etc...
This discussion might help each other to success in India.
(i.e. If two users planning to move back to same city, it will always good to know and will have good company in India. If two users are looking for business opportunity in same city, discussion may endup with partnership to start the business in India.)

We may have to do a rethink on the word “Opportunity” and its real meaning.
That as “opportunities”, returnees and the receiving members are not looking for 6 figure salaries and their attendant perks.
That we can bring in sufficient money to have a simple, happy and content life, happy to be around our parents, not outsourcing their geriatric care to avaricious neighbors or relatives, happy to be around our siblings and to be participating in the weddings in their homes than counting our dollars whenever such events are announced.
Otherwise, we can as well be abroad.

India / CAN / US / Aus/Uk/ or Africa - all is well as long as you are happy
My choice: India : for weather and social activities - such as in week-end or evening i don't have to worry about weather , time, or place - i can go out hang out with friends, family or just go out without thinking or per pairing my self according to weather condition or my friends timing.
CA/USA or other 
or financial security and kids education
trick: avoid mega cities and stay in small town ( anywhere India or abroad) - life is way better in small town.
I used to live in Toronto - I MUST ADMIT - I may not hate Canada but i hate Toronto with passion. - traffic, busy life, high cost, high insurance and busy people.
Now i am in small town: less traffic, peace, not so crasy people, nice greenery , very low cost, and interesting thing is if i need emergency to go to big city it take only and 1 1/2 hr
India: i use to live in Big city - i didnt liked the pollution - rest no complain but my small village town is way better life then big city .
young or mid age people: work hard , take high risk in life to make money - save 500k ( trust me not hard to make 500k - its looks big money but it is not) once u start taking tough steps money will flow.
Then take that 500k invest in India - u will get roughly 10% to 12% - which is around 2 Lakh / per month ... good enough to enjoy life in small town India. ( rent nice condo, good education for kids, have car - nice decent life )

Once basic necessity is covered start of starting small business or par time contract work- life will be beautiful
- also don't forget u paid taxes in Canada so u will get some retirement money additional as bonus

Make in India initiative of Modi is turning to be a game changer. Over the next few yrs (by 2017), as per World Bank India's growth rate is expected to be the fastest in the world (ahead of China).
Interesting times ahead, this happening at a time when lower crude price is a given for a prolonged period. Lower crude is a recipe for problem for all oil exporting countries (& Canada is one of them). On contrary, India being a major oil importer is saving enormous amount on its oil import bill. For every $decrease in oil price, India saves 4000crores on its import bill.
This low oil price alone is enough to wipe out India's fiscal deficit.
Imagine the potential opportunity, future holds in India.
