I have a Freshco , 5 minutes from me.
Every Friday I get flyers of different stores at my door step. So instead of spending time, energy & gas going to 4-5 different stores.
I walk to Frescho and PM the flyers of WM, FB, NF, Loblaws, Metro, Sobeys over there. As long as its the exact same brand & Size.
Sometimes Freshco's price is cheaper or same, then I don't bother with the PM. Usually I buy store brand & not name brand, same quality, same tasted, but low price.
PS: My wife (BangaloreGirl) is more active on CD than me
Make sure that she logs out and then you log in with your password, to post your queries.
In the past, we had Dimple 2001 and Violet who were husband and wife but then posted under the other's log in ID. This was because one forgot to log out and the other posted, thinking that it was under his log in ID. It led to confusion.

Instead of doing a low level job. Do a low level IT course like software testing or something. Something that you can learn in 6 months or so.
Then through your wife's connections in IT get an entry level job in IT in her company or elsewhere and move up from there .
You can even volunteer ( free work, no pay ) or do some internship type or Co-Op type job to get Valuable experience. Canada is a cheap country that loves FREE work from volunteers or low paid interns. Volunteers do almost $ 1 Billion dollars of FREE work in this broke ass country, hoping that one day they will get a job in their field..he he
Or do P.Eng in your field, but that's a long, tedious, time consuming and expensive process. Lot of time, energy and patience will be required . But worth it in the end.
Hi AT,
I'm not doing a survial/labor job. It's a fresher level job in my field, but in a very small industry. It's a contract job & they pay less, but good for a start. But your words got me thinking. Esp. when you said we get comfy in survival job & stop looking for jobs in our field. I think I should restart my job search & aim higher.
& your Coupons, deals & PM info
HW36 also gave some nice info on email subscription discount.

Not sure if you had like this but how about telling the CD board (potential new comers to Canada) as to how you got this fresher level job. It will help many, who think that they can only get labour job / survival job in Canada.
This is what AT is also talking about. How the seniors must help the juniors / newbies to crack the Canadian job market.
