Which AC to buy from whom ? 35000 BTU
I am quite intrigued how did you reach to the calculation of 35000 BTU ? Are you looking for 3 ton.
Are you sure your furnace is capable of taking a load . In order to have 3 ton AC working properly you should have 80,000 BTU or more furnace Input .
There are many variables that can affect your decision . Feel free to shoot your technical questions here .

There is deal @ home depot ( project loan) 36 months no-interest installments. The AC service is outsourced to a vendor TRANE ( 190 bovaird drive), who does the delivery , installations & warranty as well in the cost. You get a good deal here with no down payments.
My last purchase for my rental unit was a 2 Ton AC, 24000 BTU $ 3200 Paying less than $100 per month.
Depending on your location , you might be eligible for the heating and cooling incentive from hydro. In my case $400 refund.

Ok Ashwani G, so to start how do we determine what capacity we need ?
2 Ton AC can be installed under 2400 $ any given date . Agreed that its a good price from HD as they have to pay some one to have it installed and make money for them as well . Private contractor cannot provide you installment payment option though . I am not sure if 25 % saving is worth by paying money upfront . I guess for rental units you can claim the expense so it doesn't matter much

@ FH - Ecoenergy and Ontario Home services are the latest new scams going around in ON . They prey on innocent people who hardly speak english or are quite old to understand different jargons .
Often words like CO poisioning / death is used to scare and gain business .
I will keep myself away from any door to door salesman.
