Hi CD Freinds,
Finally after waiting a period of 4 years, recieved the passports with the visa. It was pretty long period as one interview was cancelled. and another took again 1 year and 6 months. Would be landing inToronto in last week of November. I require some information about the weather condition in November end. and any other precautions to be taken before landing, pls advise. I would be coming with my wife and 4 year old son.

Tie your seat belt securely and stow away your table top back to the front seat. Wear snow boots just in case the plane skids in new snow (the planes have not seen snow for 6 months!!!) and you have to walk back to the terminal.
CHEAP JOKE!!Jokes apart, just be careful to carry good warm clothes with you. Since most of the Indian warm clohtes are not fit for canadian winters, the secret will be to use layers on you rather than thick Indian jackets.
And do bring your family along.......they would love the snow!

Canada will seem to be sleeping after Christmas for 1 month! Get gloves, toque, and snow shoes (in Canada, for Canada). Enjoy the snow and forget job search for a month or 2

I think the bus stops in Toronto and GTA were designed in summer for the summer though!

Hi you both,
I would not suggest except that be prepared mentally and physically to face tough challenges. Personally I would suggest to bring the family along. Family is agreat source of inspiration and strength. Be prepared to face severe winter and snow.
Alos be prepared to skid!!!!
