We are planning to return to India in 6 months. Are there any R2I thinkers?

I mean by that is there anybody who has thoughts of returning back to India? ie R2Ing?

Can you add a little bit of detail.

1. Are you a Landed immigrant in Canada or Canadian Citizen

2. When did you land here and what made you come here and now what is it that made you to "think" of going back

3. I am sure you can find many "thinkers" but not many "doers" ( meaning many might want to go back , I found only a few actually take that step)

4. Do you want to go back for good or keep the options open in future.

The best resource online that I know of is the R2I forum on msn(I am a member there for over a yr.). You need a lot of patience to explore innumerable excellent threads. Try reading it & you will be glad you did.

Thanks for your posts goldeneye & uncertain desi,

I am canadian citizen.

Goldeneye, I wanted to explore & had thought Canada as something very different & better. I am sure lot of us do when they are in India but after coming here I found myself thinking about my life in India all the time. So I am returning to India for good, as far as my son is concerned if he wants he can come back later in his life, I don't think I'll come. My son is 11 now. Looking at his age, our move has to be sooner the better. He is more than happy to go back, because we just visited India.

Uncertain desi, I am also a member of R2I club & I am very happy to read some of the posts there, also it is very useful for my move.
