Ok, I give up. I was looking for the thread where Massood had responded with the sponsoring fee amount and timeline for a dependant child.
I apologise for asking these questions again.
My baby will be born in the US and we will bring the baby home to Canada and file for sponsoring the baby.
1. Can I bring the baby home across the border as a visitor using a birth certificate or does the baby need a passport (I am aware passport is required when filing sponsorship appl)?
2. Do I use the "Applications for Sponsorship and Immigration to Canada from Abroad" section of CIC for information and guidelines? There are actually three parts of stuff to fill out and file!!
3. Are the below links the right section to obtain forms and guides for sponsorship the baby?
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/sponsor/out.html
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/applications/fc.html
Thanks a bunch.

you should get his pass port made anyways. he will not need a visa to come to canada. you can then apply for his PR from within canada. you will deffinaely need his passport.
Hey mates,
I see clearly the genuine hearts of members of this forum to offer help to others but I thought it was not right for us to give input on topics that, either we do not have relevant practical experience or professional competence, irrespective of the drive or passion propelling us to help members.
That said, please note that you need to include your baby in your file and have your baby undergo medicals and other requirements as stipulated by CIC for the issuance of Canadian visa, just like every member of all immigrants would. Please, do a search on previous threads on this topic to get the right steer. I hope you've not already got your visa because it gets more compicated.
