Hi all,
I have a perm job and my husband has one perm job too, I would like to invite my mom to visit us. but we do not have any money in bank to show , since we pay to our credit card.
My mom's visa was rejected 3 times since we both did not have good jobs. but now this year we have good jobs. so will she be able to get a visa based on our job letters and t4 .
pls help.
Sorry but the answer is mostly No.
Though they do not express it, the Visa officer needs to see atleast 6 months of bank statements and subjectively atleast 20000+.
What you can do is to try to save quite a bit in 3 months and hopefully with 3 months of good savings and MP's letter , your mum can get a visa. She should also try to show enough proof that she will return back to india after visiting you (like a job, to receive pension, to care for your other siblings etc...)
I hope you know that getting the visitor's visa is like a lottery and that no method is set in stone.
Peace by TK

I am a Gents and not a Ladies.
If you both have a good perm. job from last 6 months, try getting a line of credit for both of you from your bank. Transfer the line of credit to a saving account in some other bank.
Then as TK suggested try saving as much as possible in 2-3 months & deposit that to the saving account in regular intervals of pay check. Mean time go on depositing the minimum required to your line of credit.
In the end of say 2nd or 3rd month ask the saving account bank to sent a bank statement. Submit THIS bank statement along with the visa application which would show your financial position.
Try this one also
Take the money from your line of credit & get it into your chequing account & then go to the bank & make a GIC for say 1 year. They will provide you with a GIC CERTIFICATE. Next day go to the bank again & cancel the GIC as they have a 7 day cancelation period. They won't take the certificate back. Deposit that money again to the saving account in some other bank & ask them for a bank statement at the end of the month.
Submit this statement along with the GIC certificate (no matter you cancelled it) to the visa application.
Best of luck.......... this are just ideas for helping you out.

Hi,
I would suggest that you apply for the visa after getting new notice of assessments based on new jobs.
My parents visa was rejected despite showing suffiecint funds. Next time In addition to proof of funds on both funds my parents also submitted
an affidavit in India on a stamp paper letting them know under the oath that they (parent) will return back within the validity of visa and do not have interest to immigrate. (not sure how much this played a role but notarized documents does have a lot more importance).
It is very difficult situation..the family immigration takes forever and they are not liberal with visitor's visa also. Darn!
I wish you a good luck. But try after a sufficient gap between previous application.
Hi mona,
Yes am applying only because now i have new assessment which shows good income of me and my spouse.
regarding the bank money i know cannot do anything now its gonna take very long time to save any money in canada,
i will try my luck and see and hopefully she will get it this time.

Hi Guys,
One couple we know is also in the same situation. At this time, both of them do not have job. However, they really need someone from India to visit here and take care of the situation. Wife is expecting and is put under high risk pregnancy of 26 weeks. Right now she is admitted full time in the hospital. Due to this situation, husband can’t look for a job since he has to take care of her. What should they do to support the visa application of one of the relative in India? What supporting letter should they provide: Letter from the doctor, MP, bank statement?
Thanks in advance.
