Hi,
I am a newcomer here and delighted to see so many expert opinions coming here.
I am a student in Canada. My wife and I both got visa of Canada, from aug 2008 to aug 2010. I got student visa and she got multiple entry visitor visa.
Unfortunately, she could not come with me due to her parent's illness. May be she will take a couple of more months to come here.
I afraid, as she has not used her visa yet, does the visa expire after first 4 or 6 (or something like that) months if she does not come to Canada by then? Or, she can come to Canada anytime before Aug 2010?
If she cannot use the visa after first few months, what she should do?
If she can use the visa, does she need to show any extra paper to the immigration officer besides the visa upon entry to Canada?
Counting on your reply. And any reference to Canadian govt. webpages telling about this issue will also help a lot.
As far as I know a visitor/tourist/temp visa expires on the 'expiry date', regardless of whether or when it has been used in the interim.
