I am sitting here in the BOONIES and I see an old website and dreaming just to taste these kind of pickles. Here is a link to one such pickle made in Hyderabad and being sold there.
http://www.orderpickles.in/prawns-pickle-online
Just to quote to you, the RAW ingredients here are costing $9.00 for the Prawn and may be a third for the ingredients. There is labour costs, packaging and distribution etc., to add to that. If they deliver the same at NO Cost (Not Into Canada) it sure is an excellent deal. I will keep them working got me for the next 100 years. Wouldn't you?
That sure is a Deal and a Bargain.
Thanks for starting the topic on pickles.
FH.

GTA also has some caterers who are selling these pickles. so far I was getting from india but seriously thinking of buying locally to avoid the customs and non-frequent trips to india.
Btw..you can google to find those caterers in Bramton.

I am one of those lucky ones who have a highly hospitable neighbors from AP who treat us always with their local culinary specials, last week was a bottle of chicken Achar, first I was not sure how it would work as we never tried or heard such but after trying that, boy it became such a thing.
It goes very well with my South Indian rice dishes and even with Roti time to time.
Appreciate if you share where such things are available commercially.

Only the strong arrived.
