Mississauga Gets First International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program in Peel
and the first Pre-School Programme In Ontario
After three years of careful planning, staff training and self examination by Springfield Staff and an external review by the International Baccalaureate Organization (I.B.). Springfield Preparatory And Nursery School, has been awarded the status of World School offering a Primary Years Programme (P.Y.P.)to children from Nursery School to Grade Six.
The I.B. programme, which has been increasingly adopted by public and private junior and senior high schools and is recognized as being Ideal preparation for colleges and universities in many countries, focuses on preparing students to be active participants in a lifelong journey of learning .
