In which category, she applied?
She applied as a Skilled Worker category as a teacher
Do not reveal to the CHC that you are working.
Let the application run as it is, don't let anuobne know that you are working until u r asked 4.
yeah yambha is right, don't tell anybody in CHC that u r working. and u should have continued your studies to maintain ur dependent status untill your application is finalized. u could have done masters or a diploma or could have enrolled for some regular program and have done a job side wise.

The problem is that I am on a work permit in Canada..they can easily find out that I am not a student anymore..I appreciate your suggestion..but I will like someone to tell what the the legal fact is?
I was a student and under 22 when we applied..so does CHC expect you to remain at the same position for 4 years(during the time of application) or is it only at the time of application??
Who is a dependent child?
Your child or a child of the person you are sponsoring will be considered a dependent child if that child
A. is under the age of 22 and not married or in a common-law relationship; or
B. married or entered into a common-law relationship before the age 22 and, since becoming a spouse or a common-law partner, has
• been continuously enrolled and in attendance as a full-time student in a post secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority and
• depended substantially on the financial support of a parent; or
is 22 years of age or older and, since before the age of 22, has

C. is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and is unable to provide for himself or herself due to a medical condition.
Dependent children must meet the above requirements both on the day the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga (CPC-M), Ontario, receives a complete application and, without taking into account whether they have attained 22 years of age, on the day a visa is issued to them.
